It began with a Vespa

This was chased up the Schauinsland at racing speed in the early 60s.
Later, a Ford Taunus TS from my father, which was also used in competitions on various mountains.
This was followed by the first Porsche. A 356, a welded coupe. With this car I often took part in Porsche Club sporting events and so on.
After I got to know the German racing events and won some of them, I got involved internationally in the European Championship.

Championships
- Runner-up several times in the 70s in the European Hill-Climb Championship EBM on Porsche 911 3.01 RS.
- German mountain championship 1982: BMW Ml
- EBM championship won in 1983 (BMW Ml) + 1984 (BMW M3)
- 3rd overall in 1985 German circuit championship (BMW Ml)
- 5 years Porsche Cup (944 Turbo + 911 Carrera) 1986-91
These races took me to South Africa for the final round in Kyalami. In between I drove 86-88 European Championship Touring Cars with 635 CSI and M3 (E40).
After my active racing career I took part in classic races for many years. In the meantime, my car collection grew steadily.
